Members of British boy band 911, who are in Vietnam for a performance tour, enjoyed outdoor activities in Ha Long Bay and are impressed by the country’s street food.
After their first show in Ha Long on September 10, they spent time exploring the beauty of the UNESCO heritage site with its limestone karst mountains rising out of the waters on a luxury cruise.
For Spike Dawbarn, the two favorite activities in Ha Long were kayaking and golf.
“Vietnam has so many beautiful golf courses,” the singer said.
He and Lee Brennan experienced kayaking and tried out other activities in Ha Long Bay.

“Ha Long’s beaches are really beautiful and quiet,” Brennan said.
“Being outside for a long time, he felt like he was about to melt like a snowman,” he said about Dawbarn.
He hopes to have a vacation in Vietnam with his mother, who enjoyed the photos he took in Vietnam.
In Hanoi, the 911 group walked around Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake, visited the Old Quarter and enjoyed street food specialties such as bun cha (grilled pork with rice noodles) and Trang Tien ice cream.

Jimmy Constable, the other member of the band, said he was impressed by the ancient beauty of Vietnam’s capital.
“I wish I could visit Vietnam once a week to explore more.”
After their performances in Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, the band will be in HCMC on Saturday to perform at the 2023 U.K. Festival in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate 50 years of Vietnam-United Kingdom relations.
Formed in London in 1995, the pop group consists of three members.
They are known for their 90s and 2000s hits “The Day We Find Love,” “Love Sensation,” “Don’t Make Me Wait,” and the acclaimed love anthem “I Do.”
