The next place you will visit is Co Loa, also known as Loa Citadel, which is an ancient fortress closely associated with the legend of King An Duong Vuong and the story of My Chau-Trong Thuy. This fortress was built in the 3rd century BC and served as the capital of the Au Lac kingdom, now located in Dong Anh district, the capital of Hanoi.
Co Loa Citadel is the largest and most unique ancient fortress in our country. Within the archaeological site, there are about 60 relics, including 7 relics classified as National Heritage. In addition, the area also preserves a system of intangible cultural heritage, including unique folk customs, traditional festivals, traditional craft villages, and distinctive culinary culture.
Bat Trang Ceramic Village is a famous tourist destination in Hanoi, primarily known for its traditional pottery craft. It is one of the oldest pottery villages in Vietnam, with a history dating back to the 15th century.
